Jonesville Shooting Range & Park

Below are the exhibits that we will have at the December 11th Public Meeting (Sutton Elementary School from 5:00 to 7:30). This meeting will be a similar format to the previous meeting, with an open house format where attendees can interact directly with the project team. The exhibits below include two options for the shooting range that are a refinement of the previous options, and maps that show where the overall project site is located within the overall area. This reduces the amount of excavation, and allows a consolidated open space that connects the range area with areas to the east (campground and trail access) and the areas to the south. What was this event? A public open house for the Jonesville Shooting Range and Park planning project was held on November 6th, 2025 from 5:00 to 7:30pm in the Sutton Elementary School gym. With an open house format, attendees were able to directly interact with the client and consultant team. Various exhibits were available at the open house including maps to show the location of the site, and three initial concepts for possible improvements focusing on the development of a shooting range. Attendees were encouraged to provide their written comments on a “site assessment” form, and to visit the project website for additional information or to leave digital comments.
