What was this event? A public open house for the Jonesville Shooting Range and Park planning project was held on December 11th, 2025 from 5:00 to 7:30pm in the Sutton Elementary School gym. With an open house format, attendees were able to directly interact with the client and consultant team. Various exhibits were available at the open house including maps to show the location of the site, and new iterations of concepts for possible improvements focusing on the development of a shooting range. Attendees were encouraged to provide written comments, and to visit the project website for additional information or to leave digital comments. Exhibits for the Upcoming December 11th Public Meeting

Below are the exhibits that we will have at the December 11th Public Meeting (Sutton Elementary School from 5:00 to 7:30). This meeting will be a similar format to the previous meeting, with an open house format where attendees can interact directly with the project team. The exhibits below include two options for the shooting range that are a refinement of the previous options, and maps that show where the overall project site is located within the overall area. All of the exhibits can be downloaded as a single PDF file using this link:  Jonesville Shooting Range and Park December 11th Exhibits Options Option 1: This option locates the 300 and 200 yard ranges farthest to the west. This reduces the amount of excavation, and allows a consolidated open space that connects the range area with areas to the east (campground and trail access) and the areas to the south.
