Public Meeting - January 21st from 5:00pm to 7:00pm

 

You are invited to a Public Meeting on Thursday, January 21st, to participate in the development of a plan for the Jonesville Shooting Range and Park. The meeting will provide two identical sessions (one beginning at 5:00pm, and one beginning at 6:00pm). Borough and Department of Natural Resources staff will provide project background and introductions, and the project team will provide a brief presentation of the current preferred alternative for the development of the Shooting Range area. After these briefings, attendees are invited to interact with the project team and provide your input (similar to the open house interactions of the previous two meetings). The project team continues to appreciate your knowledge of the site and your thoughts on the plan as it evolves.

The meeting will be held in the Sutton Elementary School Gym (11672 Wright Way, Sutton-Alpine, AK 99674).

The Jonesville Public Use Area (JPUA) is located approximately 58 miles north of Anchorage near the community of Sutton. The land encompassed by the JPUA is owned by the State of Alaska, Department of Natural Resources (DNR), with collaborative management between DNR, Alaska Department of Fish and Game (ADF&G), and the Matanuska-Susitna Borough (MSB). Public Meeting - November 6th from 5:00pm to 7:30pm

You are invited to a Public Meeting on   Thursday, November 6th , to participate in the development of a plan for the Jonesville Shooting Range and Park. The meeting will be held in an open-house format, where you are welcome to drop by   between 5:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.  to hear about the project, interact with the project team, and provide your input. The project team would appreciate your knowledge of the site's existing conditions and your thoughts on some initial conceptual plans that will be shared. The meeting will be held in the Sutton Elementary School Gym (11672 Wright Way, Sutton-Alpine, AK 99674).
